I was confused as to how I should rate this book. While the story was entertaining and not too difficult to read. It was some mix of YA and Chick-Lit. I don't necessarily have a problem with either genre, but I found it a little difficult to consider myself the target reader. I often found myself hating the decisions the main character, Aden, made.

I wasn't sure about this book at first, but Aden's view of the world was very compelling. Before long I was caught up in the story. Aden's character gave me something to hang onto through the sadness and tragedy. I won't say it was an easy book to read, but the read was definitely worth it.
This book is a huge pageturner! The perfect summer read... sit down in your cabin or on the beach, and just devour it. Amber Carter weaves an interesting story with intersting characters. I loved it!
reading for bookclub; surprisingly good considering this is a book about a random 21 year old girl's life and there's not a very strong story line. Lots of good rated R (x?) material :)
