This was such a great read! I knew all the basic stuff about Spiderman before reading this book but I've learnt so freaking much. In fact, I was so inspired that I started my Spiderman comic that has just been laying around lately today. I loved all of the rare collectibles and bits and pieces throughout history that were featured in the book. We bought this for my dad for Christmas one year since Spider-Man was his favourite superhero when he was a kid. I ended up really enjoying it as well. I haven't ever really gotten into comic books and superheroes, but Spider-Man is such a classic character, and I really enjoyed seeing the evolution of his story, from his conception in the 1960s to present-day. Very interesting, and I loved the little extra things such as additional artwork and memorabilia.

I love Spidey and this book is a fun read. It contains rare art and promo stuff that are really cool to see. Only complaint is the Spider-Man history is a little thin and it tends to jump all over the place and completely ignore important stories. Other then that highly recommended for fans.

I thought I knew about Spider-Man. After reading this, I realized I didn't know much about him. Great book, I loved learning about my favorite superhero. Excelsior.
