Val isn’t your normal 18 year old girl, she’s half demon and a lust one at that. She is also known as the Slayer in the vampire world, she has fought and taken down many evil vampires. This time around she is looking for a missing book, trying to figure out her new relationship with her sh ...more
Disclosure: I received a special 3-in-1 eGalley review copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Synopsis: The vampires want it. The demons want it, too. And someone is willing to kill Val for it. Val and Fang have to find the powerful Encyclopedia Magicka before either of San Antonio's warring underworld factions locate it or the consequences will be deadly for the entire city. As usual, Val's vampire enemies (they still ...more
Val's Mission: discover the location of the Encyclopedia Magicka at all costs, lest it fall into the wrong hands. This becomes increasingly more difficult when the supposed 'keeper' of the books, Trevor Jackson, sh ...more
"Fang Me" is another exceptional read in the Demon Underground series. In this installment Val is now under contract to work for Alejandro, vampire and leader of the New Blood movement. In addition, she is struggling with her succubus side, Lola. She has discovered that if she loses her virginity, she will also lose her strength, speed and other slayer abilities. T ...more
The whole stay virgin/keep superhuman strength and speed vs. find true love and give in to pressures of having sex was really cool. I was hoping that Blue would find a way to allow Val to "have her cake and eat it too"...boy does she ever, but not in the way you'd think. You'll have to read it to understand! FANTASTIC!

The book is the continuing adventure of part succubus demon Val Shapiro and her faithful hellhound sidekick Fang (who I just adore).
In this book Val and her demon friends are trying to trace some very powerful books that have gone missing, not knowing how to find them, how much power they have, or who they can trust.
I found this series thoroughly delightful. The world and character building were very well done. It made me want to visit San Antonio...and I don' ...more
Unlike book #2 which launched a completely new, different story from the first book, Fang Me continues with the same events of Try Me. Now established in roles and relationships, the characters of the Demon Underground novels have a continuing mystery to solve, in addition to a new unknown, unaffiliated demon in San Antonio. Pretty much on par stylistically with the first two, Fang Me continues Parker Blue's three-book-long streak of fun, easy and a ...more
Eighteen-year-old Val Shapiro is one-eighth succubus demon. She and her sidekick, Fang, a half-terrier, half-hellhound dog who can talk to her telepathically, are still searching frantically for the enormously powerful Encyclopedia Magicka. They must locate it before either of the warring factions of vampires and part-demon humans within the city of San Antonio get their hands on it. If Val and Fang fail, there will be dire consequences for ...more
Parker Blue has blown all that away with her series, proving that you can write an interesting YA vamp novel in this day and age.

This is the 3rd book in the series Demon Underground. So far I have enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next book when it comes out.
Val is still looking for the stolen book. But because she worded a promise wrong she is now working for the good vampires till they are found.
There is someone new to the series from LA underground Trevor who is keeper of the books. His father was keeper before him and was put in the book with magic. He warns that mage demon will want the books bad. He ...more

Favorite Lines: ” It was really nice to have an excuse to hold onto Shade, especially with Lola out of commission. Made me feel like a normal girl on a date with her boyfriend. Even Fang was quiet for a change. Closing my eyes, I enjoyed the sensation of being warmed against Shade’s body, feeling safe and cared for.” (p. 534)

Val needs to find the Encyclopedia Magicka 1)to save the book from landing into the wrong hands=world destruction or sth, 2)to end the contract that she made with Alejandro, the head of the good vamps. Val is a bad ass vampire slayer/succubus and you're thrown into action from the start. Val was funny and smart witted with her sarcastic behavior. I found myself laughing out loud a few times. I liked that Val was independent and didn't always depend on a guy to help rescue her in fact, she did a lot of the rescuing and protecting.

I hate writing bios so that's all you're gonna get. Okay, okay. Instead of more boring bio stuff, how about some of my likes and dislikes?

- Shiny things. I must have been ...more
