This was a great anthology. It starts out with Tory and Sam in Kasey Michaels' All Our Yesterdays.

Tory and Sam were lovers in college, until one day Tory disappeared without a word. She just packed up and left. 32 years later Sam is contacted by Allie, Tory's daughter. His and Tory's daughter. After so many years, can they let the past go and come together again? Will Sam be able to forgive Tory?

This was an interesting story because it deals with a couple in their 50s. After 30+ years apart, c

I bought this anthology because of the setting - Cape May, NJ - and one of the authors - Sarah mayberry.

One thing I liked about the stories in general was that all the main characters were a little older - they were not the 25-28 year olds who usally seem to populate books - and it gave a different point of view to the stories because of the places each person was at in their lives. The stories were also well connected - I dont think any of them would have made sense if they were read a

Once upon a time, many years ago there were three young children who lost their parents in a car wreck. As there were no family members to take them in, they were all adopted into different families, and only the oldest had anything but a vague notion that the others existed. One day, the daughter of one of them, who happens to work for the CIA, decides to find her mom's family, and is successful. With that background, a huge reunion party is planned. It serves as the backdrop to these three sho ...more

A Summer Reunion is an anthology that is a bit different to what I’m used to reading. Usually -or as far as I’ve seen- anthologies have a very broad theme in common but each novella has nothing to do with the other. In this case each story is closely related to the previous one and in the end you feel like you have read a novel instead of three different novellas.

The common thread of the book is -you guessed it- a summer reunion. Maggie, Tory and Ste

This anthology is really about 2 1/2 stars for me. The first story I didn't like at all because it centered around my least favorite plot...the "secret child." I can't ever really like a woman who is that selfish and deceitful and I never really find the ease with which she is forgiven credible. The other 2 stories were likeable, with the last story slightly better for me. While there certainly was romance, the premise seemed more like something you'd find in women's fiction.

From the first page that I started reading this book, I felt something is attaching me to the whole story. The book consists of three related stories which tells story about three different character who find their love in three different period. Kasey Michaels did fantastic job to picturesque smooth story.

This book has a concept I love. It is 3 separate authors, 3 separate books, all one storyline. I wanted to love this book.

However, I am disappointed. The first story I struggled through. The second and third stories were a bit better than the first.

I actually thought that this was one of the better beach reads I've read this summer. The three authors did a good job of keeping the relationships of the sisters, their families and love interests in line with the theme of the anthology.

I liked the idea of the book, but I didn't much enjoy the first story at all. The second and third were better, but not great. I was a little disappointed.
