I would recommend the book Red Sea by Diane Tullson because it is filled with a lot of suspense. It has many predictions for the reader to discover and find out what will happen next. For example, Duncan says “I don’t expect any problems, but if you see anything and I mean anything come out of the ordinary, you are to come and wake me.” This quote is basically saying if anything goes wrong to go to them and let them know. It is as if something were to happen to them they would tell the person. S...more

This was a unique book to read. The events in this book was crazy. When her step father got killed by those pirates, i was like oh my god.after that point i was expecting for the unexpected.

This book is a quick, but exciting read. I would put it in the "youth struggles for maturity" group. It is a survival story with current day pirates.
