A tremendous collection from one of my favorite poets, Alfred Noyes. Lively and rollicking and sometimes rather odd -- but Noyes was a master. MacKinstry's illustrations are gorgeous (as long as you skip the mermaids, ahem).

This volume contains the following poems:
- Forty Singing Seamen
- The Highwayman
- Bacchus and The Pirates
- The Admiral's Ghost
- The Tramp Transfigured
- Black Bill's Honeymoon

... with The Highwayman being hands-down the best, of course.
