Do You Have a Secret Fantasy?

Scientist Eve Campbell does. Smart but vulnerable, she wants the perfect man - a man programmed to fulfill her every desire.

Urich, however, is more man than she'd bargained for. Sexy, mysterious and compelling, he is everything she could have asked for. Except she was supposed to be in control and that's the last thing she feels with Ulrich. Fr

OK, I've got a confession to make. I started this book with really low expectations. I was expecting to hate it or at least to dislike it. Why? I read this author's previous book LOVE GAME which was supposed to be erotic, hot and something special. I found it to be thin in plot and characterization and I didn't much care about the love scenes. I think I was expecting too much because it was so highly touted and put off reading this one for a year and almost traded it in unread on the basis of th ...more

This book was part Psyfy part romance. I loved that the woman and man point of view is in it. I like how they showed both of their hearts and I would read this book again

This book was different in many ways and then again, not so different. Let me explain, Eva is a brilliant scientist working on a virtual reality program, but not so successful in her love life and feels insecure as a woman. Urich is from another planet. His race is dying, as they cannot reproduce and basically, they need a female capable of getting pregnant to stop their race from dying out. To gain her trust, he pretends to be the virtual reality "man" and gain her confidence before taking her ...more

This is the first book i just couldnt finish. It would have been a good book if the author hadnt tried to impress the reader with poetic sentences like the following:
A ripple of sensual suggestion, there then gone, like a subliminal message flashed across the screen of her mind.
He regarded her awhile, seeming to consider her readiness for some elusive revelation that only a diviner could grasp.

These types of sentances were used so much i began to think that i was reading a foreign language. I

3 Stars! ~ I wasn't expecting this to be a paranormal, with a other worldly hero. While it was an entertaining story, somehow it didn't flow right for me and I found myself struggling with it. Eva is a woman whose psyche gets a boost when Urich shows her the inner strength and passion she possesses. Urich learns about love and what it means to commit completely to someone. Their HEA was doomed but of course, Eva wouldn't stand for that and her courage and love prevailed.

The weirdest thing happened. I bought and downloaded a book by a different author and the text of this book downloaded with the cover of the book I tried to buy. It took me 100 pages to figure out there was trouble with the download.
Anyway, I read around 100 pages and I'm not sure if I'll finish it. I actually skimmed a lot of the pages and didn't miss a thing. The writing is difficult to plow through. It just doesn't flow well. The story concept is sorta cute though.

I enjoyed this pretty much for what it was, but the end plot got way off the rails & distracted from what I enjoyed.

This was AMAZING. I have no idea how to assign stars to it.

Full review here, but even that doesn't do it justice: http://catemarsden.com/2015/08/19/tbr...

Dry... Slow to follow, with some lag in detail... It ended well, but I disliked the adoption at the end... :(

Terrible book. I didn't even finish and I almost always finish reading what I started. Horrible writing and I had a really hard time following what was going one.

“Yes, only a fool would have slipped into her deepest reaches and grasped the woman within. The whole of her so fine and glorious, he had reverently fondled each nuance of her mind.” 1 likes
“He could cloak a mind and fool another into thinking him invisible. A parlor trick, but one he disdained to use as she glided through the chamber sprinkled with stars against void. The stars were like Eva. They shimmered with a luminous brilliance, but couldn't see their own magnificence.” 1 likes
