Important treatment of how boys and men are socialized in ways that force conformity to cultural definitions of masculinity and deprive them of their full humanity. I found Boyd's work to be an insightful and helpful resource when I researched my book, Malestrom: Manhood Swept into the Currents of a Changing World.
