Taking care of someone is the most loving thing a person can do. Yes, sometimes it is extremely difficult. It’s easy to forget our own needs and get caught up in the endless tasks that need to be done each day. It’s also emotionally draining to see and be unable to fix the frustration and pain of those we love. In these moments we forget that caregiving is a gift for us as well, sharing a connection when someone needs it most.
