This is an interesting book because it's a true story of the trials and tribulations of families prior to and during WWII. It includes anecdotal memories, and pictures. It is a sincere look at a Canadian family of fourteen children and their experiences.

Not my usual genre for reading, but I truly enjoyed this book. Told in a casual tone, it's just like listening to a grandparent telling you of the good ol' days. Definitely an author to keep track of!
