One of the best setting books for Gurps. It does help that I'm a fan of alternate history settings and this one delivers it in spades. It solves the problem with many fantasy settings which are really Earth counterpart societies with their numbers filed off. In Banestorm, these ARE Earth societies transplanted to Yirth by magic.
