Adorable illustrations and fun onomatopoeia highlight this book for younger children. The characters are so cute the "Awww" factor goes through the roof. But the story isn't complex or even all that interesting. It certainly is way below the reading level of the books we typically read. I'm almost surprised that our youngest picked this one out at the library, but the cover is just so darn charmingly sweet.

We weren't overly entertained by this tale, but I could see it being perfect for reading...more

This title would be a good read aloud for the wintery months. Very young readers are likely to enjoy the simple story of Little Bea who spends a day outdoors having fun in the snow with her friends. Since they skate, make angels in the snow, and throw snow balls at each other, children who love that time of the year will be able to relate and smile at the idea of Little Bea being covered in the snow and nursing some hot chocolate. I liked some of the language: "Brrrrr" (unpaged) and "Wheeee!" (u...more

This is a cotton candy book. It's got perfectly sweet adorable pictures of cuddly animals combined with extremely bland cutesy text. If the text had been livelier or a bit more interesting of a plot I might have thought it a better book for the toddler/preschooler audience. Unfortunately it's just sweet and bland with nothing to really recommend it.

The story may not be that complex, but the appealing innocence of Little Bea and her friends is what attracts us to this series. Here, they enjoy the typical activities of a snowy day. Predictable? Yes. But still a fun winter read for the preschool-age set.

More fun than the original, in this book Little Bea buzzes around with her friends, engaging in winter activities. She skates, makes snow angels, and enjoys hot chocolate while rhyming and alliteration are used to keep the children's interest.

Cute illustrations like the original Little Bea book but the story isn't as interesting to my 1.5 year old yet. Maybe as she gets a little older she'll enjoy the story more.

These forest friends have a lot of fun on the snowy day; the illustrations were created Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and have that shiny look of computer generated art.

I might still like the first book a tad bit better, but I like Little Bea and this time she and her friends are celebrating a snowy day.

Playful with a nice message about friendship, but don't bees die in the snow? Maybe, I should read less dark and edgy YA.

2.5 Year olds think bee's making snow angels are freakin' hilarious

Cute, cute, cute pictures. Horrid text. Has no flow and no rhythm.
