Another not-sexy book on my reading list but there is A LOT of useful information in this one! I wish I had read it years ago before securing several home loans in the past. For such a dull subject, the author does a fantastic job breaking it all down. He details the process of securing a home loan, what it entails, what the industry offers, and what it all means. I learned a ton.

Again, found this in the ANF bin at work. This just looked really contained some really understandable info about mortgages/loans. A recommendation on the cover says it all:

"On my scale of one to 10, this outstanding home-mortgage book rates an off-the-chart 12." (Robert J. Bruss, syndicated real estate columnist).

This also talks about how credit scores are determined. It really looks good.
This book is a little out of date, but still totally helpful if you don't know anything about mortgages and are in the market, unlike us; I read it just for fun...yes I said fun.
