I loved reading with anticipation however I was shocked at the end I'm not sure what I expected but not the death of the two main characters. It made me sad

Heart Breaking

What a wonderful story. Loving, maddening, heart warming, deceitful, adultery, all from a very selfish man named Andrea. Yet had all the love in his heart for his children that anyone could manage. Married to a woman who was dedicated to him in a never-ending life span. An ending that saddened me greatly as I had come to admire this family greatly.

Another great book

I have enjoyed every book Mabry has written. They are suspenseful with fully developed characters. This one haunts me because of the ending. I highly recommend this book.

Very different from previous books by this author but good

Likeable characters, good and bad choices that all us humans evolve and mature make, this time with an especially high price to be made.
