Almost from the moment I started reading this short story, it felt like watching a horror movie. You want to keep watching but at the same time, you want to hide your eyes. Elizabeth (Lissie) has a strong voice from the very beginning and a very unique personality. I was so interested in the story that the ending hit me long before I was ready. Can't wait to see the novel this character was inspired by!
Literary Ames {Against GR Censorship}
Lissie is a 12-year-old manipulative little sociopath who glories in murder until she becomes the victim of the notorious serial killer, the vampire Claude. Being inside her head was slightly disturbing, I couldn't wait for her to be dusted.
