Very good book on putting some perspective into your life. Uses a lot of bible scriptures. The intent of this book is that you read one chapter a day for 40 days, patterned after Christ's 40 days in the wilderness. Very easy to read and quite thought provoking.

Still reading, but so far it really has made me focus on the real, eternal purpose of life. I really like it, i'm only on the 6th day, but it has really changed my perspective on life in this world, to the biblical reality. Very good.

This book is awesome. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing I felt about myself after reading this book. Our church did like a series and it taught a lot of the adults, as well as the children, a lot about life in its self.

This is book is SO inspiring and will set your life in the right direction. Please read it! It is 40 chapters long, and the key is to read one chapter per day. You'll love it, and you'll love how it will change your life.

A very good book for consolidating so much of the Bible's widsom and giving you a path to follow. Like 7 Habits and Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, this one is a book that is likely to be frequented all year long.

This goes great hand in hand with the Purpose Driven Life book. It gives you a chance to record your intimate thoughts while doing your devotions and reflect back on them later. It follows right along with the book.

What didn't I learn?!!! Everyone should read this book! I'm rereading for the third time. So beautiful! So sad Pastor Warren's wife has terminal cancer but so beautiful the way he's able to handle it.

This book helps me to realize that I have a unique purpose and a unique set of gifts. It shows how to do away with things that I shouldn't be doing so that I can focus on what needs to be done.

To follow God will is not a complicated way.
Step by step, learn and learn, give thanks and cheerful.
In the end you will find, that He is our friend, our partner and our savior.

Too much in one day, and who the heck can figure out everything in 40 days?! I was not a fan...definitely wouldn't recommend this to a new or struggling believer.

This is a really excellent book set up not as a self-help book but as a daily mediation for developing and strengthening your relationship w/ God.

See review of book -- by using the journal the second time I read the book, I moved from passive reading to more powerful reflection and action.

If I can get pass day 10, I will have a better review. At this point I can only say that I am satisfied with the help the author provides.
