Kloepfar, John The Zombie Chasers #2: Undead Ahead

This is the second book in the series book The Zombie Chasers. This is a fiction book about some kids trying to overcome zombies. This is a fun book that students will enjoy especially the boys. This book can allow student to let there imagination fly as they read this book. I can see this being used in the classroom as Selling the book to the students(Beers, pg. 290) technique Read and tease(Beers, pg. 291). Students will listen to the teacher r...more

I felt the second book was even beter than the first. The second book introduced two more very important charachters. There names are Ozzie and Mrs. Willis. Ozzie is a specially trained kid because his father is a four star general in the military. Ozzies dad made him go to a special camp while the zombie warnings were in effect. A great sequel to the first book.

Crys (The Hodgenator)
A cute continuation of the series.

This time, the Zombie Chasers add another to their force while losing one to Washington, D.C. Parts are comical, but overall it is a cute zombie story for children. I would NOT recommend this for children under 9.

I think this the first book is such a great book to read. It's funny, entertaining, and full of detailed descriptions in just about each and every paragraphs! I'm ready for book 2! Funny and disgusting zombies!

This book has a lot of detail and horror. It's a good read because of the zombies. I liked the book a lot because of the jokes and "zimmers". So read Zombie Chasers 1, 2, and 3 when it comes out in January

“onto one of the whirly-chairs, zooming around with his arms out, pretending to be an airplane. Zack watched as the rolling chair suddenly tipped backward, and NotGreg bashed his chin against the control board before landing on the floor with a thud. Another loud buzzer sounded, and a woman’s calm, digitized voice came over the air force base’s alert system. “Three minutes until automatic lockdown. Repeat. Three minutes…” “You moron!” Ozzie cussed, tapping frantically at the keyboard. NotGreg’s head tilted to the side. His eyes shut and he conked out on the floor. Zack knelt down, trying to shake him awake. “Ozzie,” Zack said. “Do that thing you did to me with the smelly salts.” 0 likes
