I love this book, I actually own 2 copies so that I can keep one in mint condition. The images captured by Tony Worobiec, along with the accompanying text, provide an evocative look at a part of the country considered "fly over land" to many. The images are beautiful and sometimes haunting as they show what is left behind when the land no longer supports someone's livelihood. "Ghosts in the Wilderness" is a beautiful coffee-table style photography book of abandoned buildings in the rural north central states. As my family recently took a trip out to SD & WY, I was familiar with the landscape and enjoyed close up pictures of the type of homes we saw off in the distance.
