Guy Powell is without a doubt one of the leading experts on Return on Marketing Investment. he and his co-authors address Return on Social Marketing Investment in this book.

The book is as much a guide to how different social media marketing instruments play out as it is to "social ROMI". While it stays true to the ROMI context, I think the book would be even better had it contained more concrete advise on how to implement end-to-end ROI measurements.
