There is something the author of this book does not realise. Yes, she makes usually good mothers negligent when they cannot put down her book, but it is more than that. Joanne makes you feel. Her characters make you feel on a level that I would never have thought possible from a work of fiction. Herein lies the question...how does Joanne make her fiction so thoroughly factual in our hearts?

Danann Frost Embraces the Dark is the follow-up to Danann Frost Falls from Grace. In each book, Joanne Valiukas takes us into the life and mind of Danann, a fallen Angel of Light or whatever she really is. This sequel starts where its predecessor,Danann Frost Falls from Grace, left off....with Danann falling from grace Again to be with Seth and its not all good and gravy for them. She finds out that time has passed a heck of a lot longer than she expected and her King is not there to greet her. Unfortunately she gets whisked away by Seths archenemy Eamon. After having given Danann Frost Falls from Grace a glowing 5 star review I was a little concerned that the sequel would fall short. I needn't have worried! Joanne Valiukas outdid herself once again! Danann Frost Embraces the Darkness not only delivers but actually surpasses its predecessor! This book moved me and surprised me at every turn.
