The Amazon Kindle has made it so much easier for an author to self-publish their book. "How to Publish and Sell Your Article on the Kindle: 12 Tips for Short Documents", by Kate Harper, provides helpful information about how to publish an article on the Kindle. Many of these tips are also applicable for publishing on the Barnes and Noble Nook and for Amazon "Singles" (short books ranging from 30-90 pages long).

This is a 43-page article for beginners on how to publish and sell short documents fo

Second time through this book, and now it seems a little dated. Many of the technical suggestions--what program to buy, who to write and publish the electronic version of your brief booklet or article--have been eclipsed by Kindle and Createspace contributions, making the publication process very, very easy.

For it's good reminders--put your front matter at the back of the book, remember that some Kindle samples don't show enough of what you're selling to provoke's someone's interest--I give it t

If you are a writer of short stories or articles and you are not publishing them on the Kindle, you need to read this short article that is full of valuable information, resources and links. The world of publishing continues to change and evolve. If you don't have the time to write a full-length book, then write articles or short stories. And the good news is that you don't have to wait for a magazine to buy your article. You can publish it yourself and make money today.

I got into publishing short story ebooks nearly a year ago by accident and learned everything contained in this article ebook by trail and error. This is a good reference if you're starting out or been creating short ebooks for a while, whether fiction or non-fiction. I found the info on pricing and using images inside the article ebook to be useful. There are numerous resource links on different aspects of creating an ebook.

The text in itself is a selling point for how to write articles. Every section had a reason to be included. I trust that this writer knows what she's writing about, because she proves it through what is in this short book (need to know's) and what is not (extra examples, fillers & regurgitations). The writer infected me with her 'Can-do and Here's how' enthusiasm. The book includes a careful selection of a variety of links worth paying for. Good buy.

Very interesting approach to publishing. As a freelancer who contributes to lots of mags and websites, it never occurred to me to self-publish shorter pieces on Amazon. Cool book!
