Look at that cover... that's what drew me in for sure! You all know how I am about cover right?

In Mr. Wonderful Lies, we meet Megan - she's tired of dating losers and with her latest debacle behind her a year ago, she's ready to jump back into the dating game. She's even pretty sure she's found her 'Mr. Wonderful".

Her two best friends, Anna and Jared, aren't so sure. Megan has always been attracted to Jared, but he's undatable for a few reasons..

1. He has a tattoo covering his back. I'm looking...more

The cover piqued my interest. I've never heard of Etopia Press or Kaitlin Maitland. I am thrilled I picked it up. I loved all of the characters save the villain and really related to the story and how we can prevent ourselves from living full lives, and seeing that sometimes were blind to what's been standing in front of ourselves the whole time. Everyone needs a best friend like Anna and Jared.

although it was well written i felt it dragged and i became extremely bored about half way through and found myself skimming just to get to the end asap. overall very dissappointing!!!!!!

When your best friend happens to be a gorgeous guy - but also a major "player," it's best to look for something else, right? Safer? Better? Not necessarily...

I liked this story for the most part. I have to say that I didn't understand why Jared didn't let his feelings be known sooner (5yrs?? hmmm) and I have to say that Megan didn't read like a 35yr old, she seemed incredibly naive in the worst possible way.

Anyway, a decent light read that won't strain or tax the reader too much.
