I read about it in an old, out of print Jazz guiderecommends it for: fans of Jazz; music lovers; wee ones; adults
Langston Hughes' The First Book of Jazz is quite simply that - the first book a child reads about Jazz music.
In it, each letter of the alphabet corresponds with a famous/iconic figure in Jazz.
The copy which I own is not represented on this list. The version I have is the first edition (hardback without its' cover). I do not know if the book has changed since it has resurfaced (somehow I doubt this but you never know).
