I won this book through a giveaway.

I didn't realize it was a Christian themed memoir. I was under the impression it was a fictional novel.

While I don't personally believe and agree with the views of the author, I'm not going to rate this book badly because of that. I'm sure there are individuals who would find this book far more useful then I did.

So proud of this girl for opening up her heart and life on this level. I wish I had a recourse like this when I went through what she did. It would have made a world of difference to know that I was not alone. Even after all these years, it was amazing to read my own thoughts and feelings coming out of someone else.

Ridiculously moralistic and biased towards the religious right, this book is difficult to read because of the judging and somewhat hysterical tone. I put it down partway through and sent it to my local used bookstore so maybe someone whose beliefs are more in line with the author's can perhaps appreciate it.
