What to say about this book? I started out thinking I wouldn't like it very much, but quickly became absorbed. Michael Parenti writes clearly and thoroughly about issue that are impacting all of us - not just Americans, but people everywhere. I learned a lot about the motives behind what the US "empire" is doing and why they are doing it. I learned about what "free trade" and "globalization" really mean.
