This is 1 part of 5 in a large volume of Card's short fiction, called Maps in a Mirror, and the book is divided by genre into 5 sections. Each "book" includes an introduction of Card's take on the genre, as well as an afterward where he talks about the ideas and influences behind each tale. It's an interesting look into the birth of the stories, and I enjoyed that as much as the tales themselves.

I love it when when writers branch out to new genres and are able to pull it off. This is a collection of 'Tales of Dread' by Sci-Fi/Fantasy writer Orson Scott Card. There are some true gems in here (Fat Farm, Freeway Games and Closing the Timelid immediately come to mind!) and you owe it to yourself to check these out.
