I don't say this very often, but this is one of those occasions where I liked the second book in the series even more than the first. (And I really enjoyed TOUCHED) Jackson has gone out of her way not to rush the development of the characters and the storyline as she dolled out the first two books in the Sense Thieves trilogy, but she also hasn't wasted my time or dangled me over any unnecessary cliffs to wait for the next installment. You get both satisfaction and anticipation.

Remy may have gotten rid of Dean, but now it’s time to meet her maternal Grandfather, and see what he has to teach her.

This was another great instalment in this series, and I really enjoyed it!

Remy continued to be pretty selfless in this book, and I really felt sorry for her and everything she had to go through. She really did endure more than anyone should ever have to endure, and was forced to hurt people she loved just to keep them safe.

After high school graduation, Remy decided she’d go on a trip to look for some answers about her heritage. Not certain if she’d be safe, Asher followed her but soon got into trouble when he was being caught and tortured by some Protectors. Could Remy find a way to bargain with the Protectors without getting herself killed?

I adored Remy. She had a big heart and she wasn’t the type to back down without a fight! I honestly thought she and Asher would have some sweet, intimate moments while they wer

I have to admit that this series has shocked me. And for the second book in a series Pushed was perfect from start to finish. It provides readers with twists and turns each chapter and kept me wondering who did what and why and what the heck was going on. It's a great read and I'm happy I decided to read the books after seeing them on here for a while.

Remy is going through a lot and I think she handles it all the best that she can and when she can. She wants to make sure those she loves are saf

Pushed was such a good sequel!
At first, i didn't think it was as good as the first, but as the story progressed, my opinion totally changed!

Remy was a great character again... but there was a few times where she was slow to catch on.
I loved Ben, Laura and Lucy again as well. They wasn't in it for a huge chunk of the book, and i really missed them.

The ending had me crying.

It was so good, but so so sad!!

Overall, a really great read!

Update 1/9/14
This book was superb. It is the second installment in the Touched series by Corrine Jackson. This book added elements that I thought might have been forgotten such as the fact that the main antagonist from the first book is dead (Dean). Ms. Jackson needed to come up with another one and fast and she did an amazing job! (view spoiler)

Pushed is a fantastic sequel to Touched. I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I wasn't absolutely in love with it. However, this time around, Jackson won me over. I fell in love with the setting, the characters, and the plot. I can't wait to see what Jackson has in store for her characters next. They grew so much in this installment, and the plot was fast paced and intense. This is turning out to be one of my favorite YA series, and I'm glad that Kensington gave me the opportunity to try ...more
If it's possible, I actually liked this book better than the first one and that rarely happens with sequels. I loved the characters once again and I loved the plot twists. There was just so much going on I couldn't put the book down!

Caught between two warring factions, graduating high school senior, Remy O’Malley doesn’t know what to do. She has the ability to cure the sick or injured, but ends up mirroring those wounds or illnesses and then has to find a way to heal herself. Unlike other Healers who have similar talents, Remy isn’t helpless. She has the “warrior” instincts of her father, a Protector.

Hmm, this is the second book in the trilogy and some background information may be required for those readers who haven’t ha
Gefiel mir noch besser als der erste Teil! Gabriel UND Asher mag ich beide total gerne :) Freue mich schon auf den letzten Band!

In the case of "Pushed", I thought this second book in the series was even better then Corrine Jackson's first book,Touched.(and I really enjoyed Touched.)I loved the strength and ability to endure pain and a really rotten life that I saw in Remy in the first book. She had grown up with a Monster for a Step father,Dean, and a mother that wanted Remy to heal their injuries and hide evidence of Deans torture to both herself and Remy. Now Dean's dead and Remy decides to see what she can learn about ...more

The 2nd book in the Sense Thieves series was just as good as the first book!!!! What keeps my attention with this book is their powers and how they use them..The storyline is very good and very interesting!!! This book made my emotions go berserk.. Sometimes i was angry, sad, and so gleeful i can pick this book up and spin circles!!!
I loved how the story went but i do feel bad for a certain character-no names mentioned-and i hope it will turn out ok in the next book...I dont think this book had

Pushed is the second book in the the sense thieves Trilogy.I have loved this series since I ran across Touched last year.Pushed follows right where Touched left off so these are NOT stand alone books. Pushed follows Remy and Asher through more struggles and more romance.I absolutely loved this continuation of the story. I am on pins and needles waiting on Book three in the series. This is a MUST read series.I'm not even joking. It has always surprised me that I never hear anyone talk

Pushed was an emotional roller coaster keeping me on the seat of my chair. Remy takes a leap of faith to follow her mother's instructions and find her grandfather only to discover more truth than she can possibly stomach. Remy learns first hand what happens when you trust the wrong people and what happens when the person you least expected help from becomes your biggest supporter. Book two is packed full of loss and turmoil with an ending that left me counting down the days until book three. Sen ...more

OMG is in order this book was great. Remy really got on my nerves this time around. Her wanting to find out more about her Grandfather put her family in danger; and Asher's family as well. What knocked the wind out of me is when I thought Asher had been killed. What really had me blown away is when in Asher absence Remy and Gabe developed some strong emotional feelings for each other; he even gave her a nickname (Remington) how cute is that. When Asher steps back on the scene and he finds out th ...more
Well damn. Sneaky author.
Even though I didn't feel the book at the beginning, I was close to give it up, but when I looked through the pages to figure out what will happen, I changed my mind and read it further on.
The story is actually really catchy when you make the beginning and I really liked the behavior of Remy, Asher and Gabriel then. New people are introduced, some are lovely, others not.
All in one, it's a good book, I liked it at the end and can't wait to read the third one :)

Set on a journey to discover herself and her ability, Remy O'Malley faces many challenges as well as people who are against her every being. You see, Remy isn't your typical high school student, when she touches people she beckons their injuries onto herself. Remy is a Healer; one of the few remaining, she had thought. After her mothered had passed, she left Remy with a "journal" recorded on an iPod. It told of Remy's grandfather and how she could find him, as soon as she realized the chance of ...more

Book was pretty decent.

I just feel bad for Remy. Everyone seems to betray her in the end. You can't trust anyone. Remy thought it would be a good idea to meet her grandfather and maybe discover more of her healer roots. Starting with her grandfather, Francois Marche. Apparently, he is in it with the Protectors. He so call claimed that "he is doing everything for the greater good" via giving up one of the healers to keep the other healers safe. Her grandfather also used her - or

I know you guys are aware of my impatience with second books in a series, and I think some of you feel the same way. You see, they sometimes just seem to be a slow bridge to the last book of the series. But a second book in Cory's hands is never, ever going to be slow. In fact, the pacing in Pushed's plot is faster than that of its predecessor, Touched. Yes, it's that fast-paced. Cory does not let Remy rest for long. Having said that, if you've re

So you might remember how I wasn't a really big fan of the first book in the series, Touched. I was however interested in the whole Protector-Healer thing enough to pick up the second book in the series. And it worked a little better for me than the first one, which might have something to do with the fact that Asher was mostly absent. Cause I'm still not digging him.

Remy doesn't really seem to get a break, aside from a mom who didn't ta

Amazing sequel! Full review to come...

Update 12/2/13:

This is an absolutely fantastic sequel to Touched! This novel picks up right where the previous book left off, but if you have any worries about not remembering how the story ended, don't. There's enough of a summary to help you recall everything that happened, and you quickly get sucked back into the action packed thrill ride that is Asher, Remy, and Gabe's life. There are some major changes in store for all of the characters, and each of the
