Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews
A second chance at love just might get them killed... and that’s only the first of the surprises that abound in this fast paced and clever tale of intrigue and romance.

Ms. Ericson did a bang up job of leading a reader into the thick of the intrigue so she could get into the good stuff – the messed up relationship between Meg and Ian. They’d once been in love but Ian’s job got in the way one time too many and they went their separate ways. Fate doesn’t like to be thwarted so, fickle rascal that...more

I think Ian Dempsey is a pretty forgiving guy, but I also think Meg's honest regret made it a believable enough scenario. So that's one thing I liked about this. I also loved the location - hiking in the mountains and so forth. I admit too, that I did not catch on to the evil villain, although I would not consider this a who-dun-it. The child, whose name and gender I have already forgotten was more of a plot device than a character, but I still liked it as a whole.

Meg Dempsey made the best of a bad situation when her husband, Ian, walked out on their marriage. His work with the elite covert ops team, Prospero, took him around the world and away from his wife. Unable to continue waiting and wondering about her absentee husband, Meg ended the relationship without telling Ian that she had borne him a son named Travis. Three years after separating, they are unexpectedly thrust into each other's company when Ian's undercover work brings him back to the area wh...more

An undercover agent, Ian Dempsey knew he had a lot of explaining to do when he bumps into his wife on an undercover mission. It had been three years since he'd seen her last, but she was even more beautiful than he remembered--and just as angry--if not more. Before explanations could happen, shots rang out and Ian flips the switch from husband to agent and bodyguard and the investigation begins. Like it or not, Meg wouldn't leave his side until he was ready to guarantee her safety. Once back in...more

Really, the books are better than the cheesy covers lead you to believe. I'm looking forward to the next installment in the Brothers In Arms series.

I thought it was a fun fast-paced story. I'm looking forward to both Buzz and Jack's story in the future.

Exciting from start to finish, with twists, turns, and red-hot romance.
