This book, the little of it I read, looked like it was written to a formula that had check boxes next to it.

(* Richest girl in town trying to make it on her own - check
* Quirky friend - check
* Ethnic friend - check
* Handsome and rich, if anodyne, Mr. Perfect for a fiance - check) +
* Sexy, handsome and dangerous guy from the past suddenly turning up - check = TROUBLE!

I actually read the book until I got to the phrase, "she arched a perfectly plucked brow". It was downhill all the way from then.
This book was very refreshing. It was a romance story but was faith background. They didn't push religion but it was there. Personally, it was a good way to show that people with faith still want romance and fun! It looks like it will be a series so can't wait to read the next book.
Cute, quirky book if you aren't afraid to read a book that has a Christian slant. Definitely a light summer read.
I re-read this book this month because I wanted something light. Still really liked it!

This is the first novel I've read by Linda Windsor and now I'm wondering what took me so long to delve into her stories. I own several more, which I will soon be reading, especially if they are all as good as this book was. I really enjoyed the tension between characters. Especially the hero and heroine. The longing for each other, and yet trying-to-remain-aloof-but-not-succeeding portion of the story kept me smiling.

I love a book that has passionate kissing in it, especially when the two people
What a wonderful book. Avon Inspire impresses me once again. So far with all of their books I have read, I have loved, not just liked, but loved every single one! Previously, I have read Linda Windsor's Scottish historical series and enjoyed it, but this book is way fabulous beyond that series. I cannot wait to read the sequel "For Pete's Sake". I'm glad I own it already, but it's too bad that it's packed for the move... *sigh*

It is the event of the year and Alexandra Butler, or "Alex" must plan her sister Lynn's wedding. It will take lots of prayer and help from her Bosom Buddies though because her handsome ex husband Josh is back in town, and rumor is that its for good. But is Alex ready to face the proverbial "blast from the past?" Josh did leave her fifteen years ago without saying goodbye...

Linda Windsor's books have been called humorous. However, "Wedding Bell Blues" is more sweet, romantic, and more real than f

He hurt her to her core when he left. Throwing herself into her work she resolved never to look back! But it's hard when Josh comes striding right back into her life claiming he's a changed man and though the hurt is strong, can she resist the man she once was married to and loved wih fervor and passion?

He had no choice...

This was very clean, cute and romantic. A little pushy in the Christian aspect. Nothing REALLY compelling. It's a 3 star, and I didn't really connect with the supporting characters enough to read the rest of the series. Alex is planning her little sisters wedding and finds out her ex-husband has moved back to town to be the best man, and is planning to stay.

Love, love, loved this book. The love and romance aspect was sweet and touching. The bond the "bossom buddies" shared couldn't have been tighter, I think every girl and woman wants buddies like that she can count on, atleast on some level. Throw into the love and friendship an element of mystery and suspense that caused the women to show their "bad-ass" sides and you had a really great story. I can't wait to read book 2 in the Piper Cove Chronicles, I just hope it lives up to the fabulousness of ...more
I really fell in love with these characters, and quite enjoyed the story. I will definitely be looking to pick up the second book in the series. My only real "problem" with the book - thus the 4*s instead of 5, was the typos (I found a handful throughout the book). I also found many of the sentences to be structured a tad bit confusing/run-on, and had to re-read many of them to understand despite the simple language of the book. Overall, GREAT, and can't wait to pick up the next one!
Everything about this book was a little shallow to me. That is shallow as in "not well-developed". This includes the characters, the relationships between the characters and the plot overall. I think this book would have benefited from a heavier editing hand. Overall, my recommendation is pass it on by!

This was a cute romance. A bit cheesy, but a fun, quick read. I'd compare it to Nora Roberts, just with Christian undertones. Recommended for a light read!
A sweet, funny story, filled with "aww" moments! I'm so happy I stumbled across this book. :)
I really like reading this book. Very wholesome & entertaining!
New series. Alex and Josh find love again with each other.
Disappointing and trite for this author.
It was sweet but not very realistic
Good but predictable.
Just a little pool reading
