Resenha Wake

Janie tem 17 anos e um dom, se é que podemos chamá-lo assim, penetrar nos sonhos das outras pessoas, ser espectadora de seus medos, sofrimentos, vergonhas…

“A versão resumida? Sou tragada para os sonhos das pessoas. Não consigo evitar. Não consigo fazer parar. Isso está me deixando louca.”

Seu dom aflorou cedo, quando a garota tinha apenas 8 anos e desde então Janie é obrigada a vivenciar os sonhos alheios, ao passo que os seus, ah os seus próprios sonhos não existem. Se já não bastass...more

Wake started out as just a book I found at the library that I needed for my L/A reading log but I got so interested in it and that's when I got hooked! :) I had to find Fade and when my grandma bought it for me I was SOO happy, EXCTATIC! After finishing Fade I had to get my hands on Gone, the dream catcher series were my "crack" :)! As I read Gone I got to pg. 187 and panicked I couldnt believe I was almost finished. I wanted to cry thinking about the fact that I wouldn't have another to follow....more

The way it's written is different from a typical read- it took a bit of getting used to, but I think that's part of it's charm. The premise of the book is unique, different, and I loved more than just a little.

It was great! I am 13 years old and I didn't like reading, but when I picked up those books I just couldn't put them down! I totally enjoyed them!

I really enjoyed this trilogy. It was a fun, easy read with interesting characters. The only problem I had was that I kept finishing a book while out of town and had to suffer in limbo until I got home to pick up the next book!

Really original and gripping series. Bought Wake cheap to make up 3 for £5 deal - so glad I did. Had to search for the other ones.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and thought it was really well written. I loved the pace and the very, unique style. The characters were easy to identify with, at least for myself, but feel that the ending was rather abrupt and a little unsatisfying. I realize that not all story lines can be wrapped up in a nice little package but this one really leaves you wanting more. I can only think that it would be because there is a fourth book coming. I truly hope so!

loved, loved, loved this series! I cannot keep it on my shelves!

I like the concept.
I love the plot.
I adore the characters.
But most of all, I am incredibly infatuated with persona of the dream catcher's love. :)

I really liked the premise of these books. In fact, I think the idea would make an interesting movie (and you know how we like sequel movies these days!). However, the writing was clunky and sometimes I found myself reading things out-loud to my husband so he could appreciate the cheese factor. I ripped through these books over a vacation weekend.
