Amazing passionate read! Connal and Pepi were fantastic toghether! I loved how they were married by mistake how hard they tried to resist each other, how deeply in love they were, how they were both eaten up with jealousy. Diana Palmer is my Queen!

2.7 Stars. Public Library 9/30/14. Older man younger woman. She is hopelessly in love with him he's a bit of a jerk. They end up married in a strange turn of events. I have a hard time with the characters and their attitudes they are weirdly old fashioned in a twisted kind of way. I'm not sure when these books were written but I'm guessing awhile ago. For short stories they aren't bad. I don't think I'll ever love her stories I prefer stronger women characters.

Connal and Peppi lots of passion, and also misunderstandings, very much my formula

Why does the description have to be so cheesy? Why?

This book was a typical Diana Palmer formula. Grumpy and hardened hero that treats heroine like crap? Check. Virginal younger heroine who has been in love with the Hero since she first saw him? Check. Misunderstanding? Check. All comes together tied with a nice red ribbon? And... check.

Good enough for a light read. If you were looking for something deeper and meaningful, look at the cover and rethink your expectations {insert pointed look here}.

He's an idiot sometimes, but she's in love with him. This is the hero with issues and the girls who loves him and rescues him, and the typical miscommunications that cause a rift in their love story. The one thing that bothers me today about Diana Palmer's stories is how these guys smoke all the time and everywhere, even in the bedrooms and hospital rooms. The second on is when the guy calls the girl "little one" . This drives me crazy!

Again, another sweet, lovely romance story in the series. A rough rancher who is trying to runaway from past demons, wealth and prestige to "find himself". Instead he finds himself married to the sweet innocent bosses daughter after she takes him out the bar in a dead drunk. I love her series and the characters she writes about. They always end up having family ties and bonds. I could easily live on a ranch with these "boys". On to the next one.
