Craig’s Legacy by Terry Campbell is one of those books that sucks a reader in from the opening page and doesn’t release its magnetic hold until well after you’ve finished. I live for these books!

I’m a hard ass that’s not easy to please, but I just couldn’t put this book down. Ignoring emails, instant messages, and one poor doggie demanding her dinner, I read Craig’s Legacy straight through until, with a heavy dose off regret, I reached the last page.

Craigs’ Legacy by Terry Campbell is a delightful book. It has everything a page-turner needs: action, adventure, romance, humor, engaging characters and a strong, unpredictable plot. Campbell’s voice is unique and refreshing. Like my counterpart, I couldn’t put the book down.

Fans of time travel will delight in this book. Frances gets pushed in the closet by a ghost of Benjamin Craig and finds herself in the middle of American Civil War. Not on a front of it, but on the same farm she left from and has to deal with scarcities and devastations that wars bring. Coffee they drink is weak because they have to ration and she can't have that extra cup.
