I hunted high and low for this book its no longer in print mores the pity. Finally found a copy of line minor damage to the hard cover binding ans missing the dust jacket.

Pictorial Victorian Homes that draws attention to the minor details like skirting, ceilings, cornices and how to furnish the space. Well worth the hunt...its a beautifully shot version of the Charles E Eastlake's Hints on Household Taste (The Victorian Ladies Bible to home decorating from 1868)

This book is great for anyone wanting to add a little Victorian style into there home. It goes room by room through the house with ideas on window treatments, floors, furniture and much more.

Not what I was expecting (more of an interior design book) but it was okay. Definitely some good information on Victorian era living, but not much that I did not know already.
Caroline
