A solid Golden Age story...exciting science, flat characters.

I listened to this on Starship Sofa. As it is out of copyright, it is easy to get an ebook version.

Charles Louis Fontenay (March 17, 1917-January 27, 2007) was an American journalist and science fiction writer.

He wrote science fiction novels and short stories. His non-fiction includes the biography of prominent New Deal era politician Estes Kefauver.
