A review done for The Romance Reviews.

CRYSTAL'S COWBOYS is a sizzling erotic romance that's hotter than the desert in which it's set. With the hot cowboys, suspenseful plot, and super steamy love scenes, I really couldn't put it down.

Trey and Rafael are ranch hands in Nevada, and while out on their horses, they find a woman lying unconscious in the desert, looking dehydrated. They rescue her and try to nurse her back to health while trying not to notice how much both men are attracted to her.

J. Rose Allister has a heckuva backlist, but my first introduction to this author was the sexy, seductive CRYSTAL’S COWBOYS. After reading and enjoying this one, all I’ve gotta say is getting lucky has never been so easy. Just grab a copy of this provocative, sensual story for a sure-fire score!

CRYSTAL’S COWBOYS is billed as an erotic story, so the amount of sex didn’t come as a surprise. What did, however, was the solid plot. Not only does the story stand alone, but the physical encounters actu
Simply put I liked it. The plot was okay (passable) and the characters were likable (Raf and Trey intereactions were good). In a market with an obscene number of menage or polyamorous relationships, this book was better than some and not as good as others. I always appreciate when the men have a relationship with each other, as well as with the woman. Crystal and her cowboys are hot enough to make a reader weep. The mystery starts from the very beginning and successfully flows through the story. The best part of the story is there are many avenues to explore and keep the reader interested. Crystal’s Cowboys is a sizzling hot book well worth the investment.

I tend to dream up stories while either lying in bed at night, taking breaks from my desk at work, or sitting on my patio swing overlooking the pool where my kid goes swimming. It's exciting to watch a story unfold, especially when characters say or do the utterly unexpected!

Before I began writing novels, I wrote and co-wrote short pieces for stage skit competitions and short story contests, garne
