This is no happy-clappy poetry, so beware. It is grim, but gripping. The writing style and the poetry remind me of a sort of epic tale being told by a bard: each poem has a lyrical quality to it and could gather people round the fire-place (especially people who want to hear gruesome, exciting stories!). People who love fantasy novels will like this book. My favourites are Exile, Those Who Were Left Behind, but most of all We've Got a Date. That one deserves five stars and more.
