Celia's novella is the closest thing I've read to a true romance in a long time. I enjoyed the humor, characters and western plot immensely.

My only drawback to a perfect ratings was the heroine's naive nature at the beginning of the story. In today's world, I would think she should have been more cautious in her dealings with a stranger, especially in a remote setting and all alone. Marla's inherited a ghost town and Cody's the muscle her daddy hired to protect her. According to Gran's will, Marla has to live in the town a week to gain all rights to the land. Cody's long and lean and bull-rider tough. Marla's an energetic, petite dynamo.

They're from different worlds and commitment-shy. Will the rodeo man get the girl or is she another stop on the circuit?
