So, first, right off the bat: the main character is young 30ish. She is dating a 64 year old. Awesome for him, but seriously? She admits that he is a father figure, but I mean, really? (shiver)

The plot is interesting. It is one of those books whose plot turns upset you. The end irritates me, like some John Le Carre novels — where the wrong person comes out on top.

It is funny: the book has odd preachy moments — or moments where it seems as though the author is trying to be preachy. But they don'
