A nice continuation to the Adam Cecily story. I loved Rose and Ben. His devil-may-care attitude and behaviour went so well when played out against his deeper motivations and Rose's assumptions and desires. She thought she knew him so well, when it was merely a clever façade that hid his much more worthy work. Nicely done.

Rose and Ben--friends from childhood-- relocate from France to England. I liked the dialogue and descriptions but some parts dragged for me.
