Recommends it for: people in a hurry
This book is exactly what the title says, but it doesn't really suit the way I like to feed my family. A lot of store-bought sauces, and a lot of stovetop frying. Not the healthiest cookbook, but it would be perfect for someone who is tired of coming home and having pasta for dinner every night. I'd say each recipie takes less time to make than spaghetti. i liked that the recipes were not complicated and there were few ingredients. would try the warm artichoke parm dip or the warm brownies with a salty peanut sauce, but don't really need a whole section on fondues, don't know about you, but they are not a regular part of my diet. and what is up with the blurry black and white pictures?? not something i've ever seen before. if i had bought the book i would have returned it. the black and white 2 page spread on 172-3 is so blurry, it looks like som ...more

Rocco is hot. Too few photos of him.

What I really really love about this book is that there is also an estimated cost per meal at the top of each recipe. Very helpful.

Great for weeknights & easy cooking... as another reviewer said, it does use a bit of store bought items, but that is why it is so easy & quick.
