Here on Goodreads I've found only positive reviews, so I suppose it's up to me to correct the misconception that this is a good book.
The story begins with a prologue containing some useless stuff written from the POV of the werewolf bad guy; in the first chapter, Zoey is attacked by said bad guy. In defending herself, she manifests some grit that's going to be drowned in tons of fluff and giggles in the rest of the book and will never come on the surface again. In this new world of werewolves known as Changelings, the Pack is a tight-knit and caring community. But when a rogue Changeling threatens the humans, animals, and the Pack as a whole in their little town, something has got to be done. If only the rogue Changeling wasn't getting stronger by the minute.

I’ve always had a soft spot for shapeshifters. Unfortunately, in a genre overrun with a plethora of supernaturals, it’s becoming harder and harder to find a paranormal romance that stands out. I’m happy and relieved to say that “Changeling Moon” achieved that goal for me.
Zoey was a heroine that I fell in love with instantly. The scenes in the beginning of the book where she went up against a dangerous animal told me off that bat that this chick is no damsel in distress. She is capable of taking...more

I haven't read a werewolf book for awhile so this was a nice book to bring me back into it. The plot wasn't contrived, I really liked the two main characters and the sex scenes were written well.
The main character Zoey is an editor for the local paper and just recently moved to town from a big city. She's trying to get away from her old life and her "gift" of a psychic ability. On the way out of work one day she is attacked by a large wolf. Only, it's not really a wolf but a changeling that's go...more

Not a bad changeling story considering it was free AND the plethora out there on the market right now.
Zoey Tyler moved to a smalltown in the Canadian mountains to get away from her psychic ability. Instead she found herself in the middle of a werewolf haven, bitten by a rabid rogue.
Saved by the town’s vet, Conner MacLeod, and barely able to admit her own supernatural power-however slight it seems to her- Conner knows she isn’t ready to hear the truth about the creature who bit her. But she’s m...more

I can't really explain the rationale behind it, but I like werewolf books better than vampire books. I haven't read any of either for a while so when I had a chance to get this book for 50% off on Cyber Monday, I went for it.
This book managed the exact right balance. It didn't take itself too seriously, after all it is about werewolves, or changelings as the characters prefer to be called.
Zoey Tyler was new to the small northern town of Dunvegan where she had taken up the job of editor of their...more

romance readers, readers who don't normally touch romance
I must say, I was impressed with this book on many levels. Normally, I can't stand "line" romance because of rampant editing errors (P.O.V. changes within the same paragraph/scene, for example); cheesy, overly stereotypical, cardboard characters; and tired plots. I get frustrated with the lack of substance beyond the (often lovely) kissing. Usually, reading a romance novel is like eating a hamburger without the tomato, without the lettuce, without the cheese, and most importantly, without the me...more

Lately, I have been disappointed in adult books they just don’t seem to have enough flare. This one was a complete opposite of that! The action was intense, the men protective and strong, and Zoey was the most courageous female I’ve seen within fiction in a long time.

When I saw this book, I was drawn to it, because of the cover. Then I read the blurb and thought that it sounded intriguing. I'm a sucker for a good vampire or even gasp ***werewolf*** story.

Dani Harper’s book, Changeling Moon, has a fun, fresh, contemporary voice that immediately propels you into the lives of the people who live in the small Canadian town of Dunvegan. With a blend of both humor and suspense, Ms. Harper’s paranormal romance introduces us to a new group of changelings to know and love.

Oh this is a fun PNR. It has what most people want in their shifter PNRs. A smexy man... too good to be true, and a veterinarian with a huge heart to boot! A kick-ass female who has no problem staring down death with a glare. It is a mate for life book that makes most women who love it swoon (yes, I'm swooning!). However...

This book wasn't too bad. It wasn't one I would have ordinarily picked up, because as I see the cover now I realized that it was a bodice ripper. And I don't generally read Romance. But since I checked it out from the Library using Overdrive, I didn't really see the cover. This, I would say, is one drawback to ebooks - it's harder to make the same judgement calls you would about print books.

Changeling Moon is a good start to a new paranormal romance series. The author has a very tight story along with some great characters. The changeling is very well explained and has some different touches then most shape shifting stories, I very much enjoyed them. You get a suspenseful storyline with plenty of danger.

I've had this on my TBR list for a couple of months and my only regret is not reading it sooner! I loved the book, it was well written with a great plot and great characters! I really enjoyed the storyline and couldn't put it down! I definetly have to pick up the next two books in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, and found it rather difficult to put down. At first I was sceptical - werewolf novels are a dime a dozen and tend into the cliched. But I vey quickly found myself hooked. This is probably more romance/erotica than I normally read but I enjoyed the characters and the plot was well paced. Connor was suitably loveable - then again, I am rather drawn to sexy veterinarians - a good way to display his compassionate and empathic side. This doesn't really bring much new...more
