36 months - I grabbed this up at the thrift store for $1 because my daughter liked Puppies Puppies Puppies and she can't wait to get her new kitty and puppy after the losse of two cats and a dog over the past year. I want right, instant LOVE, a good rhyme and cute illustrations.
Really fun, great rhymes. Kittens doing all sorts of things like trying out their kitty litter and walking on rooftops. Would be good for preschoolers, nice repetition in the refrain "here and there and everywhere, kittens, kittens, kittens!"

This was so cute! Almost made me want to run down to the Humane Society and bring home a few kittens.
Illustrator David Walker must have kittens because he sure knows how to depict them in all their many poses. The rhyming text describes what kittens do while they grow up, which is mostly getting into trouble--"climbing curtains, shredding chairs..." The picture of the kitten looking uncomfortable wearing a collar and bell is all too accurate. I was a bit uneasy that there was no message or note...more

The kittens are freakishly cute, but this book drags a bit. It's just too long, to my way of thinking. If I read it in story time again, I think I would skip a few pages.
Illustrations and rhyming text portray kittens as they go from nestling newborns to proud, independent, and ready to have kittens of their own.
This book is full of energy and cuteness. And it even almost rhymes. Kittens grow up to be cats and possibly parents.
My son picked this out at the library. The pictures are neat and simple. The rhymes are nice, too.
David Walker's illustrations eclipse Meyers's sweet rhymes to make this an absolutely gorgeous book

there is no shame in reading a childrens book because i learned that being happy is easy when you're surrounded by adorable kittens
The bar was set pretty high for this author, as her other book Everywhere Babies is a favorite. I had also thought it was a book book when we ordered it from Amazon, and it wasn't.
Exceptionally adorable kittens play and grow in this cute, cute, cute book.
