God's word is a powerful source of our beings and as Christian parents, their desires is to bring their children up in the Word of God. As young kids, their minds can start to wander as they try and fit in with peers and sometimes succumb to pressure , the other thing is kids need excitement , something fun and taking a look around most of the devotional guides - they aren't really that exciting and interesting. Until today , I have not seen a more better and interactive devotional guide for you...more
I think Triple Dog Dare is a really cute devotional book! Now, if the intended audience for it were to read the word "cute", they'd probably pass right on by it! ;) I found myself snickering a good bit while reading the devotionals.
"If the apostle James were around today, he would wear Nikes. He probably wouldn't even care if they matched his robe. He'd be styling them simply because they helped him Just Do It. The guy could've written the slogan. He did write that part of the Bible."

Even though I don't have any boys, I found this devotional geared for boys to be just as challenging for my girls. At times my girls have more interests in what boys are doing than in dolls, beauty, clothes and shopping any day of the week, so I wanted to explore this with them to see what differences there are.

Encouraging kids to have a daily devotional time can be challenging sometimes, but with "Triple Dog Dare: A year of Dynamic Devotions for Boys", your son(s) will find out how exciting, reading God's word and making it a part of a daily routine can be.
This is a fantastic, cute (okay, it's a boy's devotional, maybe we shouldn't say "cute" but eye catching), smart written book geared toward boys, like the girl's counterpart, that caters to a boys need for action, thrills and adventure. Geared for a...more

Devotional for boys
TRIPLE DOG DARE is a devotional for young boys and tween boys. The glittery-gray cover is filled with robots, sling-shots, dogs, and other boy stuff that make it instantly appealing to a boy. My twenty-one year old son was even attracted to the cover. The inside pages kind of look like a bad copy from a Xerox machine, with blotches and marks, but even that is kind of appeali...more
It looks all boy on the outside - a robot, dogs, slig-shot. The pages, much like it's girl counter part Truth & Dare, is filled with great graphics and is journal quality pages with plenty of room for jotting down thoughts or doodles.

What an exciting book for boys to delve into the word of God without all the complexity that some devotions for adults have. Totally geared toward 9-12 year old boys who long for adventure. Taking the famous stories of the bible and bringing them to the young mans level, and encouraging action on his part to mimic the bible heroes.

What an absolutely fascinating concept for a devotional! Now, while I cannot comment in full on the content of the devotional skimming through I would consider myself a fan and definitely think about getting this for a boy in my life in the age range of 9-12 years old. The cover is awesome, with sparkles that make it flash and stand out and tons of neat boyish things like gadgets and games and books and more. Discussing this one with my husband, I asked the Enginerd to consider himself a boy of...more

My son loves this devotional. He is 7, but finds much of it to apply to himself even though its for a little older age group. We do it together and he really enjoys. It's an activity that focuses on him and the issues that affect his everyday life. I recommend this for boys/young teen boys.
