This book was fascinating.... the backstory between the hero and heroine... Louisa North, illegitimate daughter of King George, and Simon Tremaine, Duke of Foxmoor. I don't really know how to describe it, since it gets revealed a little at a time throughout the book. But she was in love with him 7 years ago, but he betrayed her for politics (he wants to become Prime Minister, so he's kind of a pawn of the King... since he needs the King's favor)... and he ends up ruling India for 7 years...

Fans of smutty Regency with plenty of politics

Not as good as the first in the series, and again, there is something slightly irritating in the tone. I also skimmed a huge swathe of the middle because I didn't much care for the political candidate subplot.
I'll stick it out and read the third since I already have it checked out of the library, but I'm not seeing a long-term relationship with Sabrina Jeffries.

This book was a pretty good book. It gave the reader a mood during the whole story. Also, it gave the reader a attraction. You would never want to stop reading the story. There was no good place to put a bookmark in the book. You just wanted to read the whole thing in one day. Very addictive book!

Pure unadulterated chick lit. Set in the time of George IV it's about a Duke and his lost lady love and the rekindling of their romance. Need I say more?
