I loved Ian! Felicity was a pain! She always had something to say to stop Ian or slow him way down. I loved the way he gave her some time to realize he was for her. She was so stuborn but Ian knew just how to get his way. Ahh what a man!

Felicity was a gossip writer for the Evening Gazette in 1820 London. She used a pen name...Lord X. She made the mistake of writing gossip about Ian and he got angry about it. He decided to find out just who Lord X is. He was surprised that it was a woman. Her las
Simply stated, I did enjoy this Sabrina Jeffries historical romance. Of course, the best thing I liked about it was the cover illustration! Sooo yummy!! Just keeping this hero's sexy face in mind doubled the lusty heat portrayed by his character. I've read many romances where the interactions and dialogue between the hero and heroine were witty, sarcastic and very entertaining, but added ruthless to what progresses between this hero and heroine and that extra something that makes their story so ...more
As I am finding with Jeffries' female characters, I found the female lead annoying, somewhat despicable and utterly weak. I also find Jeffries' requisite random non-lead POV insertion to be supremely insulting (because really, I couldn't figure out what this character's motivation was without seeing it from their POV?) and also wrenched me out of the story. I hate that.

However, as usual, Jeffries has interesting mysteries and plots and fantastic male leads. One only wonders what these fabulous m

Gara-gara kolom Mr. X aka Felicity, Ian gak bisa mendapatkan istri, go

I first read this a few years ago and liked it, but didn't think it was anything much. Then in the last six months or so, I found myself thinking of 'that story where the penniless heroine is secretly a gossip columnist, and she's got to support this brood of younger siblings, and I think they went to a wax museum?...,' only by then, I'd long forgotten the title of the story and who wrote it. After a LONG time searching the archives on my Kindle (attention Amazon: you might get to work developin ...more
I wish I could give this book 10 STARS....I was glad to read Ian the heroine on the other hand what a BIOACH...she was tripping up until literally the end of the book. But Ian was amazing, dark, handsome, kindhearted, lovable and rich...can't ask for a better hero. I thought his character was funny at times, emotional at times and HOT at times. The storyline came together for me but I was surprised that he would be interested in someone like Felicity too damn strong willed and the bit ...more

I've just read some reviews about this, and I kinda agree with them. I wanted to scream at the female lead to stop badgering the poor guy and others when I wanted to scream at the male lead to just tell her the truth. Its not that bad. I was expecting something much worse then that. As the "incident" was an accident! You see it happen a llt these days. When he was telling the story, I really wanted to give the guy a hug.

The female leads 4 brothers were just lovely. I really loved them, and they

Well I started with book 3 of this series and while I think it did well as a stand-alone, I would have loved to have read the previous two books just so I got more of a sense of the previous couples who show up often in this book. That being said, it didn't detract from the book not knowing more about Sara/Gideon's story or Jordan/Emily's story.

In this book, our story focuses on Felicity Taylor who writes a gossip column under the guise of "Lord X" as a way of gaining income to take care of her

Easily forgettable regency that borrows heavily from Julia Quinn's Bridgestone series with the woman writing the mysterious newspaper column, and a hero tortured by an uncle and his own past.

yak...pertemuan pertama Ian dan Felicity mirip kucing ama anjing. sama2 saling ga mau kalah.

lumayan nih adegan pembukanya.

Ian butuh istri yg bisa melahirkan pewarisnya. klo ngga, harta keluarganya jatuh ke pamannya yg licik. jadilah dia ngedekatin teman Felicity, yg pendiam dan ga banyak tingkah. Ian berharap semuanya berjalan lancar.

sayangnya, temannya Felicity ini (lupa namanya) sudah jatuh hati ama yg lain. tp dasar pendiam, dia hanya berani ngomong ke Felicity. Felicity pun turun tangan. ber

With strong genre fiction, it's weird, because you attribute points in other areas - meaning that the four stars I give this book isn't the same as four stars I'd give a genuine classic, or a sci-fi, or whatever.

That doesn't mean it wasn't a great book in its own right, though, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The attention to historical detail was strong whilst only adding to the focus of the story - the courtship.

Love me some Heathecliff/Rochester/Darcy style moody-half-spanish-Viscount-with

I can honestly say that I cannot find one redeeming character about Felicity.

Declaring that she is a serious author when not the least bit of fact checking took place...she writes slander. She should be prosecuted, not married.

The entire book with drove me mad. How are you supposed to like a silly woman like that?

Please do not mistake self confidence with utter stupidity and an overflated ego!!!!!

Well now that was an utter delight.
Ian was such a mystery from the very beginning, and Felicity was amazing. Stubborn, hardheaded, witty and strong but those are also part of the reasons why Ian was so taken by her from the first meeting it self.
An amazing end for an amazing series I still can't decide which Lord is the best, the Pirate, the Forbidden one or the dangerous one.
But if I had to chose.,,Id chose all three ;)
Ok. I am still currently reading this but Felicity, the female heroine is annoying me. First off, she doesn't accept that maybe she could be wrong, speculating facts from what she sees. Maybe she will change later on in the book but it's gotten to the point where I don't want to read anymore. If I do finish the book, I will do a better review.

Surprisingly I really liked this book. I got it out of the library as one of their "blind date" books. While I don't normally read these types of romance novels I was hooked on this one. I was glad to see that it was part of a trilogy, but sad to see that it was the last one! I will definitely read the other 2 though.

3.5 to 4 stars..

It was fun to read it, funny too, the hero is soooo gorgeous, i really liked him, he is manipulative and sweet, mischievous, likes to get his way, also smart, and possessive.. a bully, i liked that too.

Felicity is funny as well, but kind of knows it all, she is so smart and always do it right :P
it was not all that bad, but sometimes i found the whole reasonable thinking unrealistic, since no one is reasonable when they are in love.. she had her funny moments with ian when they u

"Sabrina Jeffries always makes a book fun. She just has a way of bringing her readers into the story and The Dangerous Lord is by no means an exception. What’s sadly lacking in this read however, is the quality of the story that makes it memorable. You can read it, you can and will no doubt enjoy it, but once you’re done with it, you’re just done."

First of God, THE COVER MODEL. He is perfect looking. Wow.

Okay. So, once I actually could move beyond staring at his beautiful face, it helped that his was the image I imagined while reading about Ian.

Beyond that, I really liked both the hero and heroine in this book. Each had their own sense of integrity. Each had a feisty side. And the attraction grew in a way that I could buy into it (not just 'lust' based...but sort of curiosity, dawning respect and understanding for each other's st

I really liked this book!
I love Lord Trilogy... such a good series. And very sexy also
I like how strong and independent Felicia is, but also she was bit stubborn... she just have to know all Ian past life (But i guess all women always a bit jealous of our man ex-girlfriends)
the story makes my gut rolling in a good way.
i like the first kiss scene... in the balcony, dark, seduction all the romance of ball first kiss.
Loved all Sabrina Jeffries novels.
