yak...pertemuan pertama Ian dan Felicity mirip kucing ama anjing. sama2 saling ga mau kalah.

lumayan nih adegan pembukanya.

Ian butuh istri yg bisa melahirkan pewarisnya. klo ngga, harta keluarganya jatuh ke pamannya yg licik. jadilah dia ngedekatin teman Felicity, yg pendiam dan ga banyak tingkah. Ian berharap semuanya berjalan lancar.

sayangnya, temannya Felicity ini (lupa namanya) sudah jatuh hati ama yg lain. tp dasar pendiam, dia hanya berani ngomong ke Felicity. Felicity pun turun tangan. ber...more

Simply stated, I did enjoy this Sabrina Jeffries historical romance. Of course, the best thing I liked about it was the cover illustration! Sooo yummy!! Just keeping this hero's sexy face in mind doubled the lusty heat portrayed by his character. I've read many romances where the interactions and dialogue between the hero and heroine were witty, sarcastic and very entertaining, but added ruthless to what progresses between this hero and heroine and that extra something that makes their story so...more

Ah Ian...
-----------------------------------------------

I loved Ian! Felicity was a pain! She always had something to say to stop Ian or slow him way down. I loved the way he gave her some time to realize he was for her. She was so stuborn but Ian knew just how to get his way. Ahh what a man!

Felicity was a gossip writer for the Evening Gazette in 1820 London. She used a pen name...Lord X. She made the mistake of writing gossip about Ian and he got angry about it. He decided to find out just who Lord X is. He was surprised that it was a woman. Her las...more

I've just read some reviews about this, and I kinda agree with them. I wanted to scream at the female lead to stop badgering the poor guy and others when I wanted to scream at the male lead to just tell her the truth. Its not that bad. I was expecting something much worse then that. As the "incident" was an accident! You see it happen a llt these days. When he was telling the story, I really wanted to give the guy a hug.

The female leads 4 brothers were just lovely. I really loved them, and they...more

Buku ke3 seri Lord Trilogy.

Masih tentang kejujuran dan keterbukaan, terutama pada pasangan hidup dan sahabat. Sehingga orang orang yg menyayangimu dapat membantu kesusahan masalah yg kau hadapi.

Ian Lennard, Viscount St Clair sosok bangsawan yg misterius. Usaha pertama gagal (baca The Fo...more

As I am finding with Jeffries' female characters, I found the female lead annoying, somewhat despicable and utterly weak. I also find Jeffries' requisite random non-lead POV insertion to be supremely insulting (because really, I couldn't figure out what this character's motivation was without seeing it from their POV?) and also wrenched me out of the story. I hate that.

However, as usual, Jeffries has interesting mysteries and plots and fantastic male leads. One only wonders what these fabulous m...more

"Sabrina Jeffries always makes a book fun. She just has a way of bringing her readers into the story and The Dangerous Lord is by no means an exception. What’s sadly lacking in this read however, is the quality of the story that makes it memorable. You can read it, you can and will no doubt enjoy it, but once you’re done with it, you’re just done."

wow what can I say about this book....

I loved it and I was frustrated by it. There were times between the hero and the heroine that I wanted to scream. It was like come on already the all the truth out so we can work all this out, but I as hard is that to say it kept me reading because I had to know if the truth was ever going to come and how it did come out

It started well and the writing was excellent but, the last half was lacking in dramatics. Just kind of boring. Such a build up to what the hero had as a big-dark-secret and then blah. I felt it was just the same-old-same-old. We need, action and drama and ups and downs and this just dragged.

even though he has a secretive reason for wanting to marry so fast, you almost have to feel bad for him. 2 prospective brides run off with someone else. However the way the book unravels you cant help but keep reading until he gets his girl!

Loved it. Her 4 younger brothers are so lovable & quite steal the show. Guess the only thing that i didn't like that much was the thing in the hero's past that he was all het up about. Kinda implausible? All in all still a very good read.

My absolute favorite from this trilogy. A spitfire, smart and sassy heroine, and a tortured, intelligent, and physical hero, all wrapped up in a great plot. The back-and-forth between the two main protagonists is corking!

Easily forgettable regency that borrows heavily from Julia Quinn's Bridgestone series with the woman writing the mysterious newspaper column, and a hero tortured by an uncle and his own past.
Kathy Davie
Cute, spirited romance between a desperate viscount and an 18th century gossip columnist trying to survive with four young brothers and a mortgaged masterpiece in London.

Engaging and witty. The hero's conflict wasn't so impossible to overcome as it was made out to be, which detracted a bit from the ending.

First of all...my God, THE COVER MODEL. He is perfect looking. Wow.

Okay. So, once I actually could move beyond staring at his beautiful face, it helped that his was the image I imagined while reading about Ian.

Beyond that, I really liked both the hero and heroine in this book. Each had their own sense of integrity. Each had a feisty side. And the attraction grew in a way that I could buy into it (not just 'lust' based...but sort of curiosity, dawning respect and understanding for each other's st...more

What a delightful book. It shows that love triumphs over all and after all what can a woman do when a troublesome Lord wants her and only her.

This is really good! I love it when a man doesn't know he's fallen in love but he does everything to have her!

This one was better than the cheesy Pirate Lord. I liked both characters fairly well. Quick simple read.

If having a colorful life turns you into a novelist, then I had no choice but to become a writer. My whole life changed when my parents moved us to Thailand when I was seven. Before I was eighteen, I'd eaten chicken heads and jellyfish, been chased by a baby elephant, seen countless cobras and pythons, had the entire series of rabies shots (yes, the ones in the stomach with those lo-o-o-ng needles...more
