Full of codes to decipher and puzzles to solve, this book and others in the Pizza Puzzles series will engage readers as they read and solve the mysteries within the story. There is one illustration and one puzzle in each chapter, each chapter is less than 10 pages, and the print is large, making it ideal for independent young readers as they follow a brother and sister team as they work in their parents’ pizza shop and solve mysteries for the local residents.
The book is certainly not high litera
I read this to the kids one night. My 6 year old liked it pretty well, but my 4 year old fell asleep. It was pretty cute and the puzzles were fun.
Pete and Penny's new adventure takes them out of the Pizzeria to solve another problem. They are going to help two toy shop owner solve the mystery of who is trying to sabotage a big toy contest in town. The two siblings work hard to work through the puzzles and solve this new mystery. This is yet another fun adventure that early readers will enjoy.
Another great mystery story! My favorite part is the crossword puzzle in the back! :)
The puzzles helped hold my daughter's interest, and the mystery is fun, too.
