Diana Holcomb finds herself in a Lost episode.
She is a realtor who flies to Bermuda with a potential client on his private plane. Once they reach the Bermuda Triangle the plane crashes. She finds herself in a deserted island and when she finds what is left of the plane, only the remains of the captain are present. She suffers from heat exhaustion and during this state she thinks there is a gorgeous guy taking care of her.

The Island is also the habitat of Dinosaurs and Cavemen. One specific cavem...more

What would you do if your plane crashed down on a strange mysterious island and you woke up at what appears to be the only survivor out of 4 people on the plane? You would think it was a dream right? Especially if a nasty T-rex appeared along with creepy dirty smelly cavemen, animals and insects at abnormally larger sizes and a Tarzan like hottie draped only in a loin clothed. Ok the Tarzan like hottie draped only in a loincloth would actually be very nice.. hehe but this is what happened to Dian...more

I enjoyed Jill Myles’ Succubus Diary series this past year so when I learned she had a couple of self published books out, I grabbed them up. I went into Island Heat without having read the blurb and thought it was a contemporary, so when a dinosaur shows up (like an actual T-Rex), I was a little taken aback at first.

When Diana’s plane crashes on the way to a business trip to Bermuda, she wakes up on a deserted island. It doesn’t take her long to be discovered by native men who don’t speak her l...more

Poor Diana... always looking for the next commission, this realtor has her hands full with her latest client. When he invites Diana on a business trip to the Bermuda Triangle, she didn’t realize it would be for funny business. But once the plane crashes, Diana has to forget all she knows and embrace island life.
This story is Jurassic Park meets LOST. There are dinosaurs, cavemen, and remnants of past (??) survivors that date back centuries. Salvador is generous, adorable and alpha... just how I...more

This is one crazy book but what could you expect from the Bermuda Triangle. Diana is taking her groping client to Bermuda to find him a house, well that was the plan. The only thing she wants to do is earn money by selling a big house to him. She is smart, single and soon to be stranded on a desert island...almost deserted that is.

Oh yes this island has a T-Rex with a taste for human flesh, creepy caveman who wants to drag her by the hair to their cave and have their way with her and more. That...more

I love quirky stuff, and Island Heat by Jill Myles certainly fits the bill! This was my first time reading this author, and it won't be the last. She packed a plane wreck, T Rex, posse of marauding cavemen, the Bermuda triangle, a time warp, beautiful tropical island, hot conquistador in a loincloth, lots of romance, and even a sweet HEA into one funky story. (Honestly, she had me at loincloth). The hero of this book, Salvador, is delicious. He's a Spanish Tarzan-y conquistador who keeps popping...more

A little bit LOST, a little bit Tarzan, the Ape Man circa 1981

Remember that?

A pretty good short story, with a too die for hottie - a (view spoiler)[British English speaking (hide spoiler)] Spaniard! I found the story quite humorous, and I wanted to see how Salvador planned on winning her over, so that kept me glued to the pages.

I'm a BIG sucker for time-travel romance and I wasn't even looking for one. I'd read Wicked Game by Jill Myles last year and was looking through her other titles and came across this one. It was a short fun read(nothing too deep here people) and I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished it had been a full length book. For anyone who needs a time travel fix, this is a different take on that genre.

Dinosaurs, cavemen, hot Spainards, fun, exciting and sexy. I loved this book and would have given it 5 stars but I hated how the book ended. It was ended with high drama that didn't need to happen then rushed to an end with little to satisfy. Don't let my negative feelings on the ending keep you from reading it though because it really was an awesome read!

This is probably one of my least favorite Myles stories to date. It combined several of my least favorite tropes and on top of that I wasn't really keen on any of the characters. Salvador was only marginally better than Eustace of the ape-men quite frankly and Diana at first seemed pretty compentent, but I started to doubt her intelligence as time went on.

What a fun book! I read a review that said it was like "Lost" but I thought it was more like "Land of the Lost". Really out there and unbelievable but Jill Myles wrote it so well I really enjoyed it. I think Jill should write a sequel - there are tons of possibilities with the storyline and I would love to read more about Diana and Salvador!

Didn't like this book as much as Wicked Games (I was kind of missing insight into Salvadore's thinking), still it was good. Certainly an interesting concept, but it could have benefited from a bit more raunchiness - I mean poor Salvadore went without for 400+ years(!!) surely he would have been a bit more desperate....

This was a fun but short read and appropriately priced as a Nookbook at $1.99. I found the hero and heroine to be likeable and there was good chemistry between them. The best thing about this book is that the storyline is original.

This was cute and remarkably less erotic than most of what I've read from Myles. The heroine is a bit on the damsel in distress side, but I like the gorgeous 'Tarzan' who comes to her rescue, was she crash lands on an island that time forgot.

There's just something about Jill's writing that makes me angry about the fact that I have to stop reading and "tend" to real life. I mean, how fair is that? Really?

I gobble her books up like a Reese's pbutter cup. It's the same scenario; don't talk to me, don't look at me and don't you dare ask me to stop what I'm doing. Just imagine a mean, nasty cat hissing IF that should occur.

So goofy, its cute. It isn't about the sex with this one (but yes, it is there...definitely), so much as the romance. The guy is nifty. Decidedly drool-worthy.

I couldn't decide between two stars or three but settled in the end on three. The story took a while to get into I found, but then it is longer than the others I have been reading. Still quite good.

absolutly luv Jill Myles !!!!

Loved this book! It was fun, and I loved the characters. (Thankfully) the heroine was not annoying. The hero was not ridiculously-over-the-top-alpha. Just the right amount of "Heat". I can't wait to read more from this author.

With new authors, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not. This was a not for me.
Angela
Not quite what I was expecting, but it was fun. A light, undemanding fluffy read.
KarenF
Cute novella that's a little bit Lost meets Spanish Tarzan meets chick-lit.

Loved it!! Jill Myles is genious!! That's all I can say!!

Cute read with a nice Land of the Lost meets Lost feel. Can't get better than a hunky Spanish Tarzan.
Nookmom (Courtney)
This book if completely unrealistic with it's time travel, dinosaurs, cavemen and island time has forgotten, but I really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed watching Dianna try to communicate with "tarzan"/Salvador in the first part of the book, only to find out he speaks and understands English the entire time!
