This book had so much potential to be a great book, instead it was just flat out boring. I think I entered in the middle of a series, even though I had no problem understanding the story. Paul & Andy are a couple for 2 years now, and they have fallen on the so dreaded "married" routine. They don't talk, sex is meaningless, and they're drifting apart more and more. A very simple and unoriginal story about a couple that has started to drift away from each other and picks up a young guy who will make them whole again. It's not memorable at all, because other than the romance there's nothing to give it color and substance (no secondary characters, no subplot, no interesting backgrounds ...).
Also, I couldn'd see the love between the two successful professionals and the twenty-two year old stripper/hustler/boytoy. Lust and attraction there was plenty. Boytoy wa...more

We I started this one I was really worried that a great couple was going to really mess everything up. Paul doesn't miss his ex but he misses the edge. Andy holds back because he doesn't want to be like the ex. This biggest problem all three have is a lack of communication. Its a good reminder that no matter what type of relationship you are in communication is the key.

I thought this was an excellent followup to Silent Knights. I thought the addition of Zach was handled well. I'm definitely adding Gale Stanly to by TBR author list!
