Let me start by saying that I'm a big Faith Baldwin fan. I've been collecting her books since the 80s, and still have probably only read about half of them (she wrote more than 60!). I had not read this one before, but was particularly interested in its central premise: in the heart of the Great Depression, should a woman who didn't need the money take a job that could otherwise go to someone who really needed one?
