FBI Agent Max Calder is working undercover to take down a Russian Mafia ring. The Russian Mafia is setting up car accidents and getting tons of money from insurance companies. A very interesting story. The hero is undercover with the FBI, investigating a car-crash insurance scam by the Russian mafia. When the heroine crashes into him, the hero fears she's come to assassinate him because his cover is blown, or because his "boss" is jealous. The heroine worries he's a crook. And yet there's this instant attraction. This is a very well done story. I loved the tension between the hero & heroine. I liked it a lot.

Gotta give props to the author. She made the misunderstandings between the couple completely believable, more than believable, reasonable. The ending was kind of abrupt for me, but the overall story was pretty good.
